Program Catalog

In an effort to assist teachers hoping to engage their students in the best possible learning experience, Sci-Port's educators have crafted the following STEM packages. Each program pairing can be easily integrated into the learning cycle. They may be used as discovery and introduction to concepts, in concept formation or as part of the analysis and evaluation part of a lesson. In an effort to assist you in meeting your curriculum needs, all Labs and Demonstrations have been aligned to the GLEs, Common Core Math and NGSSs*. Download the full Program Catalog for 2016-17 here, or download specific grade levels below in the chart.

If you are not finding the perfect pairing, you are free to mix and match to create the package that best suits your needs. Special Programs are also scheduled throughout the year. To obtain additional information such as program and GLE descriptions, vocabulary, web resources and pre- and post-visit activities, click on the program title.

School Pass Partners, don’t forget that, in addition to enjoying unlimited visits and other perks, you can ask us to develop special programs specifically tailored to meet your needs

*Not all GLEs, Common Core Math and NGSSs listed will be covered in their entirety; a program may only focus on a portion of the standard.

Our demonstrations and Space Dome Planterium programs can hold up to 60 students while our labs feature hands-on exploration for up to 33 students.

Dayna & Ronald L. Sawyer Space Dome Planetarium: Your students can be part of the action in interactive programs, or be WOW-ed by the movies in our digital Space Dome Planetarium. All programs in our planetarium can accommodate up to 60 students.

Educators that have visited Sci-Port in the past will notice a decreased number of Labs and Demonstrations offered. However, our on-site educators have endeavored to cover the same content areas to better assist you in meeting the GLEs, Common Core Standards and NGSSs. For our School Pass Partner Members, you will still have access to the retired Labs and Demonstrations as part of your benefit package.
